Q: The United States has already provided millions in aid to Ukraine, why do they still need basic things like helmets, etc.?
A: The aid consists of weapons: Javelin missiles, Stinger anti-aircraft missiles, drones, guns, grenade launchers, etc. Ukrainians are still missing basic gear, such as helmets, bulletproof vests, rangefinders, night vision goggles, and even proper clothing. We do not just provide the funds to buy the gear, but actively source the gear, which can take time to do as many companies are simply sold out.
